Connecting communities. Challenging stigma. Championing care.
This project sits at the intersection of research, practice and advocacy, working to improve sexual health outcomes for migrant communities in Australia through evidence, inclusion and culturally safe care.
Evidence only matters when it reaches the people it is about.
We work with researchers, community organisations and health services to translate sexual health evidence into knowledge that is accessible, culturally responsive and genuinely useful for migrant and multicultural communities.
What we focus on
01
Knowledge translation
Turning peer-reviewed evidence into plain-language, multilingual resources that communities actually use.
02
Community partnership
Research designed and delivered with community organisations, not just about the people they serve.
03
Health equity research
Understanding and addressing the structural barriers that shape sexual health outcomes for migrants.
04
Workforce capacity
Training and toolkits that help health services provide culturally responsive care.
